Strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and DPDP Rules, 2025.
- Our Stance on Your Data (Introduction)
We are Pharmacy Growth India (“Data Fiduciary”). We are built exclusively to protect and grow independent retail pharmacies in Delhi/NCR against predatory 10-minute delivery apps and corporate e-pharmacies. To execute our outsourced audits, WhatsApp Refill Automation, and hyper-local growth systems, we require specific business and personal data. We treat this data with the same strict confidentiality that a traditional chemist applies to a patient’s prescription.
2. The Personal Data We Collect & Why (Purpose Limitation)
In accordance with Section 5 of the DPDP Act, we explicitly limit our data collection to what is strictly necessary to deliver our core services.
Identity & Contact Data: Name, Pharmacy/Chemist Name, WhatsApp Number, Email Address, and Store Location.
Purpose: To communicate actionable retail strategies, admit you to our private WhatsApp community, and configure your Google Maps dominance framework.
Business & Operational Data: Daily sales brackets, POS software data, and dead/expiry inventory logs.
Purpose: To generate your customized 3-5 page audit reports, plug expiry leakages, and execute stock optimization.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and basic cookie data when you visit `pharmacygrowthindia.com`.
Purpose: To ensure website security and functionality.
- How We Share Your Data
We do not and will never sell your data to corporate e-pharmacies, data brokers, or competitors. Data is only shared with vetted third-party vendors (“Data Processors”) strictly necessary to execute your growth systems:
Logistics Integrations: Third-party delivery APIs (e.g., Shadowfax, Borzo) to enable your 30-minute hyperlocal delivery capabilities.
Tech Infrastructure: Secure cloud servers and WhatsApp Business API providers necessary to run your automated refill campaigns.
Note: These processors are bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and are legally prohibited from using your data for independent commercial purposes.
4. Your Rights as a Data Principal
Under Chapter 3 of the DPDP Act, you retain total control over your digital personal data. You have the right to:
Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we currently hold and the identities of any Data Processors it has been shared with.
Right to Correction & Erasure: Demand that we correct inaccurate data or completely erase your data from our systems (unless retention is legally mandated for tax or government compliance).
Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent for data processing at any time through our contact channels. (Note: Withdrawing consent will restrict our ability to provide tech automation and auditing services).
Right to Nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your data rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
5. Security & Data Retention
Your data is stored in encrypted, secure environments with restricted access. We retain your personal data only for as long as you are actively using our consulting services or participating in our community. Once the stated purpose is served, or upon your valid erasure request, your data is permanently destroyed in accordance with the DPDP Rules, 2025.

We are mandated to respond to your grievance within the timeframe prescribed by law. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you possess the legal right to escalate the matter by filing a complaint directly with the Data Protection Board of India.
